R: You know they're protesting being forced into labor in a foreign land.
C: Except they get a chance to defend themselves.
R: I just feel like it has a really strong Middle Passage undertone.
C: This movie promotes steroid use.
R: No but it doesn't. It's all about self-esteem. He just makes them think they're taking steroids. Granted they still are all for taking them but he makes them see that they don't need steroids.
R: And the magic. . . they take their power. It's very colonial.
